Despite the rain, people still came out for ice cream and 50% of our sales from our "Dogs Ice Cream" Hut that day also went to the Animal Rescue Coalition.. It's great to see that so many animal lovers in Nova Scotia have big hearts!

A special thanks to all our volunteers Jenny Ferguson, Sandra Findlay-Thompson, Pam MacKeigan, and Crista Curtis as well as the Metro Dog Wash who donated a certificate for a Dog Wash to raffle off and raise money for the ARC. The winner of the certificate was Riley Armstrong a 2yr old Shih Tzu and according to his dad, this is the first thing Riley has ever won and he was very excited! Congrats Riley!!
